Megan Gilchrist Megan Gilchrist is the Executive Director of the Thorold Community Activities Group and a current resident of St. Davids, ON. She has an Hon BA in History from the University of Toronto, and post-graduate certificates in Museum Management and Curatorship from Sir Sandford Fleming College and Parks and Recreation Management from York University. Prior to arriving at the TCAG, Megan was with the Shaw Festival for 15 seasons, most recently as the Education Coordinator, and previously served as the Program Coordinator at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre. She began her career in the non-profit world as an historical interpreter in a variety of museums and historic sites in Ontario, including 25 years as a Ghost Tour Guide at Fort George. She is a National Geographic Certified Educator, and taught history for many years for the District School Board of Niagara’s Continuing Education program. An avid hiker and camper, Megan also volunteers with Girl Guides of Canada.
