Interested in becoming a Habitat homeowner? Now’s your chance! Habitat for Humanity Niagara partners with families to build homes and offers affordable mortgages — not free housing. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate: A need for more suitable housing (current housing is unsafe, overcrowded, unaffordable or not suitable for persons with disabilities) Able to make affordable mortgage payments Willing to partner with Habitat Niagara, including volunteering 500 hours with Habitat by helping build your home and completing workshops in personal finance, home maintenance and other homeownership topics.
