Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Abdullah Rophael, recently appointed as a member of the Board for the Niagara Board of Trade & Commerce. With an impressive legal career spanning 23 years in Syria, Abdullah specialized in employment, civil, commercial, and family law, serving as a legal consultant for various organizations and earning an honorary position as an associate judge in family court. After immigrating to Canada, he expanded his expertise by completing a post-graduate HR management program in 2019 and is currently pursuing an MBA, having already earned a post-graduate certificate in management. Abdullah has dedicated the last four years to supporting the community through his role as Program Manager at Employment Solutions and as part of the management team at Welland Heritage Council. We are thrilled to have his wealth of knowledge and experience on the board! |

The goal is to provide Ontario with a strategy to strengthen its competitiveness through measures that support resilience and growth. Business competitiveness results in more prosperous communities, higher consumer confidence, high-quality jobs, and a more resilient economy. This requires: A skilled and diverse workforce Reducing barriers to doing business Supporting healthy and resilient communities Investing in connectivity and infrastructure. Read the release. NEW MEMBERSHIP FEES Note: To bring NBOTAC in line with other local Chambers, our Membership fees will increase effective January 1, 2025 to the following: 1-2 employees: $150 + $10 OCC fee 3-5 employees: $195 + $10 OCC fee 6+ employees: $250+ $10 OCC fee All new members will be subject to a one-time $25 administration fee. If you have any questions concerning the benefits of membership, please call 289-438-2546. NEW MEMBERSHIP MARKETING SERVICES- FREE EBLASTS Send your specials, promotions and news directly to other NBOTAC members via our free email marketing service. Members will receive one free promotional message to our database per month, space permitting. Email messages will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, plan ahead. Should you wish more than one email message to be sent in a one month period, subsequent messages will be charged at a rate of $50/each. Please contact the office if you have questions. Members are welcome to submit their messages via this FORM, and our staff will send out your message. Please make sure you have included all pertinent information and details. |
