Thorold Candidates Meet & Greet

An Informal, Drop-In Municipal Election Event

The Niagara Board of Trade & Commerce invites Thorold residents to meet the candidates running in the 2026 municipal election.

This is not a formal debate or an evening of speeches. Residents can drop in at any time between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m., find the candidates they are interested in meeting and ask the questions that matter to them.

Candidates for Mayor, City Council and School Board Trustee positions will be invited to participate. Each candidate will have a designated area where residents can introduce themselves, learn more about the candidate’s priorities and have a direct, informal conversation.
