Sharpen your skates! City of Thorold offering free public skates at the Frank Doherty Arena over March Break

Thorold, ON – The City of Thorold will be offering four free public skates at the Frank Doherty Arena over March Break.
Residents are invited to come out to the following free skates:
- Monday, March 13 – 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 14 – 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 15 – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, March 16 – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
“We had over 200 residents come out to the Frank Doherty Arena for the City of Thorold’s free Family Day skate last month,” says Mayor Terry Ugulini. “We’re looking forward to once again hosting free public skates over the March Break, where Staff will be serving free hot chocolate and popcorn to everyone who comes out. We hope to see you there!”
Regularly scheduled programming will continue throughout the week. Residents are reminded they can view the Frank Doherty Arena programming schedule on the arena calendar located on the City’s website.
