On February 3rd, our member Debi Katsmar has put together an event called ConnectFest Niagara as part of International Networking Week. The event takes place at Riverstone Event Centre in Welland from 1pm – 7pm. The event is free to attend. www.connectfestniagara.com
The event has two purposes:
- To educate business of the power and value of networking and how to do it better
- To introduce business to the various networking and business organizations in Niagara.
Speakers include Neil Thornton, Paul Copcutt, Debi Katsmar and Brett Meadows. The day is MC’d by Anne Day, Founder of Company of Women. There will be networking exercises, the 4 presentations, a panel discussion with networking groups and general networking at the end of the day.
Debi is asking for the participation of the members of Greater Thorold Business Council in two ways:
- As a corporate sponsor to the event (Sponsor and Advertising Form) – all sponsors will be promoted on promotional material, on social media and during the event. All sponsors can provide information for the grab bags and/or a door prize. Sponsors of $500 or more can have a display table at the event.
