Niagara Board of Trade & Commerce Mandate
Our mandate is simple.
- Maintain and improve trade and commerce in Niagara
- Encourage good government and promote sound legislation at all levels of government
- To promote Niagara for the benefit of business and citizens in Niagara
We were members of the Thorold Chamber of Commerce. When it evolved, we felt the new organization it became didn’t represent Thorold or our community theatre, so we didn’t renew our membership. Upon learning of the creation of the Niagara Board of Trade and Commerce (which is based in Thorold), we immediately joined because we knew that having a strong, locally-focused business organization would be a benefit to us and our community. Time has proved us right, and I am glad to be a part of this group.
