Please welcome one of the newest NCBOTAC’S members Niagara Kendo Club!

Kendo is the most-practiced martial art in Japan and is best described as Japanese Fencing. Using the two-handed Japanese sword, Kendo builds strength, agility, balance, and flexibility while fostering the development of discipline, self-esteem, control, and one’s inner spirit. The Niagara Kendo Club was founded in 2004 as a non-profit club. Head instructor Mark Kawabe is a 5th degree black belt in Kendo. Classes are held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:40 ~ 9:40 p.m.”
