The Welland Heritage Council and Multicultural Centre would like to formally invite you to our Black History Dinner:
When: Wednesday February 5th, 2020 Time: 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Where: Casa Dante Lodge 19 on Lincoln Street Welland
Three High School graduates were awarded scholarships towards their post-secondary studies last year. We continue to strive to support students who are pursuing post-secondary education by awarding scholarships with funds raised this year.
This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Christopher Stuart Taylor completed his PhD at Western University (Canada) in History and Migration & Ethnic Relations (MER). He currently teaches at the University of Waterloo in the Department of History and the Arts First program.
The evening will also include entertainment and a three-course meal.
