Canada United is a nationwide campaign by RBC and over 70 leading organizations to get Canadians to shop or dine with you August 28, 29 and 30.
And now, Canada United will be giving away 25 $10,000 cash prizes to Canadians shopping or dining with local businesses during the 3-day Canada United Weekend*. You can tell your customers that spending with you could earn them a chance to win!
It’s easy to participate in Canada United. Simply use the Canada United Online Small Business Toolkit to access all the marketing tools you need to:
ADD Canada United stickers and GIFs to your social media posts.CREATE custom banners and logos to share online.SHOW your support with a Canada United decal for your storefront window. Window decals are available free at most RBC branches.DOWNLOAD and print posters and other materials to display in your store.
In addition, consider doing something special for the weekend to encourage your customers to shop or dine such as promote a unique offer, feature a local or Canadian-made product or extend your hours of operation. You’d be surprised what an impact that could have.
Also be sure to mark your calendar for August 31, 2020 if you are interested in applying for a Canada United Small Business Relief Fund grant. The movement started with a call to support our Canada United Small Business Relief Fund program, where every view, like and tweet of Canada United online content result in a 5¢ contribution by RBC towards the Fund. Grants are available to eligible recipients up to $5,000 and are intended to help offset costs related to Covid-19.
