The Thorold Blackhawks continue the tradition started more than a half-century ago by the early Thorold Junior and Senior teams who quickly gained reputations in their respective leagues as fierce, talented competitors.
Recent years have brought sustained success to the Hawks and many members have gone on to professional hockey careers including several who are now among the ranks of the NHL
